Executive Coaching

I work across all sectors providing coaching to clients in IT, professional services, food, engineering, manufacturing, sport, and hospitality. I have experience in coaching programmes with School Principals through Inspire and the HSC Leadership Centre. 

Specialism includes motivating self and others, leadership, workplace conflict, creating positive and productive workplaces, business strategy, change management, budgetary controls, team collaboration and career development.

After sessions, coachees report to be more motivated, energised, with clarity gained on their role, strategic direction, and purpose, and work with more confidence!

As a trained mediator and investigator, I have vast work experience in dealing with complex and difficult work relationships and use these skills in all my coaching practices. 

In each session coaches are provided with thinking and development time, allowing each session to be a natural and safe space to learn.

I have trained as an executive coach through AOEC obtaining my Practitioner Diploma in 2013, and International Systemic Team Coaching Certificate in 2019.  My CPD includes Transactional Analysis, Building Leaders’ Resilience, Coaching Leaders in Mid-Life Transition, Neuroscience and the Journey to Coaching Mastery, Conflict Management, and the Journey to Coaching Mastery, and Resilience. 

Coaching can be provided in 3, 6 or 12 month programmes.

Career Coaching

I have been providing career support and advice over the last 25 years, having trained as a career coach and with extensive experience in assessment tools, interviewing techniques, I know how to present a suitable applicant and interviewee and be successful in this process.

For those setting up in business or currently own a business, I work closely with coachees – providing tools and techniques to develop a business plan, the ‘how-to’ of increasing your client base and creating a profitable, successful business with reduced stress. 

I will challenge self-limiting thoughts, clients in return respond with increased self-confidence, motivation, and self-awareness. Coachees also report developing positive and effective working relationships with their teams, work colleagues and clients!

HR Coaching and Mentoring

As an Executive Coach, and a Fellow member of the CIPD, offering coaching and mentoring to HR Executives feels a very natural step in my service provision. With many years of experience in the HR function, I understand the challenges. I am driven to help others and to create a positive impact in the people management space, and to use my experience and knowledge in achieving this.  

The HR world is changing quickly and having someone to guide, listen and support those working at senior level is key to maintaining focus and calmness in an area which is often neglected as one which needs its own cheerleader and to be heard in a confidential, and safe manner.  

I work with HR Executives in building leadership skills, resilience, and self-confidence so they can create great, supportive, and motivated teams and when they are outside of the working environment, they are able to let go and be present with their families and social circles.

Cross Border Workers

Growing up, living, and working in a border region of Aughnacloy, Co Tyrone, I understand the complexity that employers face when employees are cross-border workers. Add in the difficulties in finding and recruiting employees makes this issue more complex to navigate in a legal and responsive way.  

Having been invited to speak at a number of events in border regions pre and post Brexit, this has become a growing area and one of interest.  I now offer my knowledge to companies who are employing cross border workers, ensuring they are meeting their legal obligations as employers. Including those who sponsor employees outside of the EU. 

With many changes in employment legislation and government guidance it is hard to keep up to date and informed, particularly if employees are based all over the UK and Ireland. 

With many companies now working globally, I am comfortable navigating the people side of businesses who operate globally, and I am very experienced to finding the answer to complex questions or signposting and assisting my clients quickly.

Investigation Services

Operating across all sectors I am a professionally trained investigator with vast experience in the completion of employee investigations. To add to my experience in this area, I have completed the Advanced Professional Certificate in Investigative Practice accredited through Pearson BTEC Level 7. 

Investigations commence on completion of Terms of Reference, from the commissioner with a plan of action, all persons involved are interviewed in a highly professional manner and are provided an opportunity to be heard by a neutral party, who is proficient and thorough in their investigative practice and report writing. 

I am experienced in completing investigations within the private sector,  HSC and Education sector.
